Forest Products Guild (PJK) unites Aalto University’s bioproduct technology and forest product students in their professional and leisure time.
PJK was founded in 1945 in Espoo, and offers a unique contact surface to the company world through excursions and company evenings. The Guild also organizes events to counterbalance studies in the form of evening gatherings and sports events, together with other guilds and associations of the School of Chemical Engineering. Additionally, PJK represents and helps its members in their studies. You can find guild members in the Guild room (Kiltis) in Puu 1 building, hanging out, drinking coffee and playing the famous guild’s card game “Siantappo”.
The Guild’s operations are led by the board, “raati”, who are elected yearly and helped by a group of officials.
